Jaane Hai Woh Kahan OF HONEYMOONS AND FANTASIES:
Well, honeymoon is supposed to be a fantasy-come-true for a couple- one time when they can truly splurge and live out their dreams before returning back to reality and their daily routines. For those who are still to experience this and for those whose chance is already over, filmmakers like Reema Kagti comes out with superb alternatives- the chance to see it through someone else’s experiences.
The movie Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd is a story about 6 couples who are on their honeymoon to Goa. Other than the fact that they are on the same bus and tourist vehicle, none of them have anything in common with any of the five other couples. The movie lets us glimpse into their lives and the experiences they have on their honeymoon.
A beautifully made movie with a great collection of sweet melodies, one of them being Jaane hai woh kahan… the song is picturized on one of the couples and it is a dream sequence. The couple in question is that of Pinky (Ameesha Patel) and Vicky (Karan Khanna) who were college sweethearts and are happily married. Everything is hunky dory and they seem truly happy. Pinky is a loud person-ranging from her dressing to her voice to what she says. Vicky starts getting irritated with her personality.
The song is a dream that Pinky has and it is a fairy tale with a prince and a princess and a happily ever after ending. A rather sweet song; though a lot of things are highly clichéd, it fits with the character and the things she might dream of. The setting is very perfect and has a lot of shells of varying sizes. It is picturized on the beach and is really breath taking.
Talking about the actors, well, they have both played the dream sequence to the hilt- Ameesha as the starry eyed Pinky and Karan as her ideal lover. It has an innocence to it and it makes you smile a small, secret smile which you yourself won’t be aware of.
The singers chosen could not have been more perfect- Shreya Ghoshal’s voice is like that of an angel and it lends some of its magic to the song as well. Shaan is like her doppelganger-his voice is completely dreamy and fits Karan Khanna really well. Both the singers understand the emotion needed for the song and have delivered with the goods.
The lyrics for the song have been given by Javed Akhtar- the man with the golden pen. This song is no exception to his collection of hits and the wordings are like that of a fantasy - which is exactly what the doctor ordered.
The music too is enchanting in a sweet and pure manner. Simple and straight, it does the work of perfectly complimenting the lyrics and the singers. The drops and highs are really well done.
All in all, a really great song from a great movie. Be sure to listen to it if you haven’t already done so.

I really liked the the song jaane hai wo kaha.. I would like to specify which part is really awesome, mind-blowing.
See these two lines
“sang mere wo bolega..chup ke se wo bolega.. dekho mujhe..” Actually tuning her voice at the time of pronouncing “wo bolega” in both the times has really left a psychological effect on me. I would like have this kind of effect again & again. I love her voice… her voice hypnotizes me..
